Share your desktop, what does it look like?

How many distro’s do you have installed on your machine ? Or are you formatting everytime ?

A couple, but also run VMs.

Endeavour OS Plasma on the old desktop. Main desktop dual drive dual boot on hold after fresh installation of Win 11. I may wait until Zorin 18 to populate the other drive. Distro hop burnout !

I am in conflict here, on my main notebook (MSI Crosshair 15 B12UGSZ) i am running Pop! OS 22.04. Last week i installed Endeavour OS on my 13 years old notebook (HP Pavilion) with KDE online install and i got pretty impressed by it. So impressed that i probably want to switch from a ubuntu based distro to an arch based distro. In the past when i used a distro with KDE it felt slow and sluggish.

I don’t want to distrohop but for endeavour os i might do it one more time.

I tried Endeavour. Too much bloat for my taste.

On the live install you can select what stuff you want to install. I went default because i am not a advanced user. I can't say it's bloated at all.

Didn't knew that.

@14nd , your endeavour os running xfce is almost running the same as mine with kde plasma (memory is not that different).

What I'd love, is a Debiain based rolling release with newer packages and the budgie desktop which doesn't exist. Arch based distros require caution when using all the repositories . There can be failed package builds and broken package issues.

Yeah only when you use the AUR (yay command), the pacman command should be save for daily use if i am not wrong.

Whilst not a rolling release, the Community constructed PCLOS Debian, does include budgie and uses the latest packages:
