Signal app disappeared

A few days ago my Signal desktop app disappeared.
The app is not to be found in the menu.
The shortcut in the taskbar alsut if I check the installed software, the Signal desktop app is reported as 'Installed´.
How to resolve this issue?
I am using Zorin Core 17.3

What happens if you remove and reinstall it?

Probably that will work.
But I am curious what has happened, and maybe someone recognizes the problem and knows a quick fix instead of de-install en re-install.
