Hey, I would 100% recommend you list on your website that you would recommend rufus to burn the zorinOS to a USB drive and to specifically mention any other software that may cause issues for example ventoy which i know Bazzite has told the users to not use as it causes issues.
Also to clarify the install options which are currently
- "Install ZorinOS" is this only for AMD CPU's and GPU's?
- "Install ZorinOS Safe Graphics" what this actually does so people know what use case it's needed for
- "Install ZorinOS Modern Nvidia Drivers" does this mean 4000 series and above? or 5000 series?
And lastly if i choose option 1 for example does that stop me from installing modern drivers or is it just a convenance option where it installs it by default?
No, when You choose Option 1, You can install the Nvidia Drivers later after the Installation in the Terminal or in the ''Additional Drivers'' Tab in Software & Updates.
Yeah that's what i tried and long story short it MAY of been just how i installed it at the time because i did a complete reinstall again and it seemed to work.
I'm not much into Windows gaming so Bazzite is not on my list. If Ventoy has an issue with Bazzite then fine, don't use it. I have used Ventoy to install multiple different distros; Zorin OS, LMDE 7, MX-Linux, Q4OS, PCLOS Debian, Devuan without any issue. Balena Etcher is only of real use to those wishing to install GNU/Linux on Macs as unfortunately there is no alternative for Mac users.

Yes, if on Windows, Rufus would be the best option, not Balena Etcher, which is known to ruin flash drives. If already on Linux, I personally recommend Popsicle, which is Pop OS's flash drive burner and its perfect, never makes a bad burn, and is light weight.
