Hi all,
I have to wait over 5 minutes for the printing to come through, over WiFi. Would installing the CUPSwrapper deb driver help out here? or should I install the LPR version? Windows machine over same wifi network is instantly printing. Default BT broadband router wifi settings ( UK broadband supplier). Could it be the WiFi setting need tweaking? I'm completely new to Linux, although I can copy text into Terminal like I'm copying DOS game code out of a magazine.
Thank you for your help!
Did You take a look in the ''Additional Drivers'' Tab in Software & Updates
if there is a Driver for Your Wifi offered?
Do You have the Possibility to connect the Printer with a Cable? If yes, could You test if the Machine would print then without this Behavior?
And did You take a Look on the Manufacturer's Website if there maybe is a Driver for Linux offered for this Model?
Team Zorin have a guide on Brother printers, but this is mainly for installing, not covering issues like wifi connection issues:
