Noticed that when opening Shotcut [25.08.16] installed from the SnapStore, will cause the dash (taskbar) to shake several times. Assumingly as it dynamically adjusts it's width.
The "Zorin Package" version of shotcut [24.02.29] is an old one that doesn't detect Nvidia encoding hardware.

I avoid snap and flatpak like the plague. For Shotcut:
" Additionally, the PPA repository ppa:haraldhv/shotcut is available for Ubuntu-based systems".
I would also check if you have a better experience using Zorin Desktop on xorg instead of the default Wayland compositor. Old video but click on cog that appears lower right at loginn choose user time but before entering password.

The same problems are there regardless of which one I use.
There are too many small problems that make it frustrating to put up with.
Going back to 17. Don’t think 18 is ready to go.
