I see it is a Mac Book Pro. So did the update install and then you lost network connection? Sounds like an updated kernel might have messed up the drivers. Can you reboot and press left shift key to view GRUB and see if you can see more than one entry. Choose the lowest in the list and if it boots ok, remove the newer kernel via Synaptic Package Manager.
Choose the 5.15 kernel and see if it boots into that with network working.
