Software 3.36.1 - The name :1.110 was not provided by any .service files

ZorinOS 16 Pro :
When starting the Software app, the following message appears:
Sorry, something went wrong:
The name :1.110 was not provided by any .service files

I did a Google search on this, but could not find a reference to this exact error. I wonder if this could be related to the problem with getting homemade desktop files to work with the app menu.

This has been happening to a lot of people and at least once a week to twice a week, someone posts this issue on the forum.
It's a fault of Software store containing Snap Store. Ubuntu Software Store most resembles the Windows Store, so on the surface, seems a good fit for Zorin OS.

But it is also true that the Software Store is buggy.

You can try

sudo apt install --reinstall gnome-software

And see if that resolves the error.
I recommend just using Synaptic Package Manager:

sudo apt install synaptic

Thanks. I wonder why the posts to the Zorin forum didn't come up with my google searches. Oh well.

Maybe the search spiders have not crawled on them, yet. Plus, most ask about the specific error: "The name :1.110 " which that name/number varies a bit (depending on which service actually called).
