What's up with the software app in v16 Pro not responding? Been like this just today . . . internet works fine and Software Updater works . . .
I had it also after first boot .
Update your system
sudo apt-get update sudo apd-get upgrade
reboot pc and try again
hmm... I opened this earlier repeatedly while looking at another members question about gnome-software. I did so again on Gnome Desktop. It fills in right away.
Previously, you also were having download troubles- I wonder if first, you might use traceroute to inspect for packet loss in your area.
If everything looks good- we can try troubleshooting gnome-software.
The first thing to do would be the straight-forward:
sudo apt install --reinstall gnome-software
