Have found a bug in the KDE image writer when attempting to write ISO to USB keep getting attached message.
When using a different software "Impression" same ISO burns without problem.
Try to unmount the USB before writing the .iso.
Hi, I have experienced this issue when trying to use it to create an .iso of KDE OS which now only supply .raw images.
The only thing that worked for me was Gnome's equivalent. How ironic is that?
I will need to go back to my KDE Discuss post to remind me of it's name. Back later/soon.
Look for Gnome Multi Writer, it is in Synaptic Package Manager.
Maybe You should adress this to KDE, too.
