I installed zorin os dual boot today and completed all the steps and updates also everything is working fine but the software is not opening its been 2 hours and still showing "software catalog is being downloaded "

Close it out and reopen it.
That helps sometimes.

. By the way, the most common way to fix any problem about that store looks forcing its closure, so right-click the taskbar > System Monitor > Processes > right-click gnome-software > Terminate and open it again, Kill if Terminate doesn't fix. Then please tell here if it didn't work so mates here can help you further, this was my only suggestion that I could tell by my experience so far.
