Software Center is super slow

It would be great if the software center actually cached the software instead of reloading everytime.

When You have that, You could try to kill the Process gnome-software in the System Monitor in the ''Process'' Tab and then start it new with a Click on the Gnome Software Icon.

Is this a regular thing? I've noticed that recently the some Gnome's sites have been struggling to load consistently, so it's possible this is temporary. Unless, it's still an issue?

Does running from the command line work normally?

sudo apt update

and

flatpak update

Alternatives you could try are Apper and Synaptic Package Manager.
