Greetings,
Occasionally my screen goes black for a second. The question is; Is it my monitor or video card that will soon to be fail? (This happen also in W10).

Or your power supply unit... OR the connection cable...
I just got new power supply. It would be strange if it already failing. Going to try with new cable. It's cheapest of all the evils.
Or this?
My cat have a bad habit playing behind my cabinet. If his claws have damage one of the cable I'll soon find out.
Loose video cable? With animals about it is possible (if not damaged).
@Storm, did zorin/you upgrade to 470.86 driver ?
And yeah a cat / kitten likes cables, last year when my cat whas a kitten she whas eating/biting on my laptop cable.
When checking the cable, also wriggle the connector to see if that is loose or faulty.
In case you or your cat have knocked it.
I remember my cat used to do that ... and destroyed a few cables.
Check your display connector.
Or change the wire.
OKay. After I replug every cable 8 days ago the problem went away. I guess one of the cable was loose. I suspect from my cat playing around. Damn cat
Cat 6 or 7?
Your cat may be a suspect in this crime, but is saving you from something worse.
I have seen the damage rats can cause inside electrical cabinets.
Your cat, has a look that says "Rat's... don't even think about it"
