Anyone else having a problem with the spelling checker on Brave .... it seems like every so often Brave's turns off ... at least when typing on this forum .... I need to go and select that feature in settings to off and back on for it to work again .....
The worst part is I don't if it is working or not if I misspell a word as they are not highlighted .....
Any suggestions ?????
Do You run Brave in a Private Window?
Not that I know of .... I mostly run Mint with Cinnamon DE and Brave as my daily driver it's the original version not the one used by Zorin 18 .... been using it for around 3-4 years with no problems ....
Was wondering if it could have been from an update ..... Brave seems to update every week or so .... just seeing if possibly someone else had the same problem ..... I haven't try Brave on Zorin 17 which I dual boot with Mint ..... but as it would be the same version of Brave that I run on Mint I didn't try it ....

Still having this problem .... anyone have any more suggestions .... this is very irritating to say the lest ..... especially when you spell as bad as I do ..... LOL
Sometimes browser spell checkers can be inconsistent, especially after updates. Checking the Brave settings and ensuring the correct language is selected often helps. Clearing the cache or restarting the browser can also restore the spell checker functionality.
Maybe try it with disabling Spell checking, reboot and enable it again. Or reinstall the Browser.
I'll give both of those suggestions a try and see what happens .... let you folks know how it goes .... so far today so good .....

Just a side note. When I first started using the Discourse based forum in my browser on my smartphone (it is a form of bromite) I used to get spelling errors highlighted and suggested corrections but now no longer see corrections, just the squiggly line.
