I installed spicitify normally, visually everything was fine, the themes and such. but all the songs in my playlists have disappeared and I can't play any of them. not even searching. help mee
Here are some informations about installation in Linux.
You can not use spicetify if spotify is installed as snap package.
The installation of spicetify depends on how spotify is installed: if as .deb file or as flatpak.
As wich package format is spotify installed on your system?
Probably you have to set read/write permissions or run "spicetify backup apply"
I would suggest to use the .deb Version that Spotify offers. Instructions are here:
Ignore the Snap Instructions and use the one's where ''Debian/Ubuntu'' stands. You will add the Spotify Repo with this and then You can install the .deb Version. Additional Info's for this You get from @Forpli's posted Link:
