I’ve got the latest Beta 16 installation. The Start button is completely non-responsive after I changed my screen resolution.

What happens if you restart the desktop shell?
Press alt+F2 together to pull up a launcher, then enter into it just the letter r and then hit enter.
The gnome-shell will restart -It takes a few seconds - during which time everything will look strange, then back to normal.
Then test the Zorin App menu.
