Stream PC audio to network

I'm trying to enable audio output to a dlna device. pa-dlna is not installable under Zorin 18 ("python3 not installable").
Is there an option for this?

Using standard settings/installation of 18 Pro.

(I can stream files through vlc e.a. but I would like to choose a smart speaker in my network as output sink in the audio settings.)

So, You have a Speaker that You want use as Audio Output Device. How is the Speaker connected? Wired, Wireless, Bluetooth?

Did You tried it with Pulse Audio Volume Control? You can install it with sudo apt install pavucontrol and why You need Python exactly? For a Driver?
