After i boot Zorin this morning, the taskbar wont appear which is unusual because usually it would appear after booting, also when i presses the super key Applications wont appear instead the taskbar would appear but its placed on the top-left side which wrong because i placed the taskbar in the middle bottom of my screen.
In the taskbar the Applications icon which is the 4 dots also didn't appear which is also wrong. my screen would freeze and my screen would flicker. I have no acces to Applications so if i ever need to delete an Extension that may have cause this problem i cant.
Also last night i was experimenting with Extensions maybe i installed something that caused this (maybe). I didn't memorise all extensions but there was only 5-7 of them half of was disabled btw.
Extensions that i remember:
Dash to Dock(Disabled)
Blur my Shell(Enabled)
Just Perfection(Enabled)
Add to Desktop(Enabled)
I tried:
Login with Xorg
Restart my PC
Restart Gnome(Alt + F2 = "r")
Disable Secure Boot in BIOS
I think what I would do in this case is disable all the added extensions that you've added, then I would go to Zorin Appearance and make sure that the layout you want to use is selected. It's possible one of the extensions installed messed with the layouts and has screwed that up, so switching it to another and then back might help.
How do i acces the Zorin Appearance? i couldn't just click the Z logo on the taskbar because my chosen layout dont have the Z logo on the taskbar(its the bottom left in the Zorin Appearance layout setting)
Are you able to open a terminal window? If you can (ctrl+alt+t should open one), you can type
zorin-appearance
in the window and the application should pop up. If that doesn't open when you do that, close that terminal and open a new one and update your system with
I was able to change my layout with the Zorin Appearance thru the terminal, after that the taskbar has disappeared and after pressing the super-key the taskbar wont appear
After the sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade This is what appeared:
