Suspend and come back issues not happening on Mint

Just wanted to let you know that I ran into issues with coming back from suspend with Zorin when docked to my usb-c dock.

I currently also have an install of Mint with which I am evaluating too... and have found that Mint does not have the same issues; return from suspend works without problems.

On top, lidclose action to suspend also fails on Zorin, while on Mint no problem.

Some Zorin driver or other choice seems to be conflicting with my hardware. Not sure how to resolve... otherwise I will probably revert to using Mint.

I suggest you don't use suspend on Zorin OS. I'm on the previous version of Zorin OS, and if I let my system suspend, I can't get my computer out of it, without a force shutoff/startup.

I also disabled my lid switch in Zorin OS, as I use an external monitor, and want to leave my laptop lid closed for dust control. If suspend works on Mint, then they are doing something different over there. I've never used Mint, so I have no idea.

Can you share your hardware details?

Hardware portion of the System report (currently running Mint but probs won't make a difference anyhow).

Yeah, that's fine. It's more so that we can have a better idea what we're dealing with or in case someone else with the same hardware reports the same issue. Hopefully this will get fixed soon for Zorin OS.
