Switch preinstalled default Browser from Brave to Brave Origin

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen!

I would suggest to switch the preinstalled default Browser from Brave to Brave Origin. Brave Origin is free of this AI, Crypto and Ad Model Stuff which I find definetely better. And the Browser is available from the same Repo. So, there isn't it neccessary to set up something different.

I could be seen as an Arguement for Zorin, too because the Browser is free on Linux but on Windows You have to pay for it.

Hi everyone,
I discovered a few weeks ago.
There is a flag to switch the installed Brave to Origin and back.

  1. open Brave
  2. In the address bar, copy --> brave://flags/#brave-origin
  3. Select Enabled or Disabled
  4. and press the button "Relaunch"

I use Brave Origin from beta and I agree, I would not change it for any other browser now :wink:

You don't need to do it that Way. There is a Menu Point in the standard Brave Browser where You can switch/upgrade/change (call it however You want) to Origin. I didn't do it. I uninstalled Brave and have installed Brave Origin then.
