i think its due to this
Linux Ate My RAM
It is Lenovo IdeaPad 330 with Intel i3-7020U with 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD, Intel UHD Graphics 620.
@Khnome, I am not facing any issue with DNF. According to me, it is a much better package manager, it is detailed, and very simple to use. I am using mode switcher, known as 'Switcheroo', it increases the performance of my laptop by more than 50%
What is it? Never heard about it.
me neither
It is mode switcher
Never heard this name. Can you show how to install it?
yes, i had seen it in fedora forum, let me go there and take it out
damn, i forgot my password and username.
oh wait i got it.
go here and install it and read the instructions
hey i still dont understand what mode is it switching
it is changing the CPU governor, from Power saving mode to performance mode and vice versa
ok one more question what is a cpu governor
As the word says, it changes the performance of the CPU based on power left on your system. Have you observed that when your PC goes below 10%, at that time your computer slows down. The CPU governor changes from performance mode to power saving mode. This is done to save battery when it's too low.
oh alright that sounds nice i am going to install the extension
