I have doubt when I'm using NVidia in Linux it consumes more battery (But, no lagging at all) but, when I switch to Intel (Power mode, always lagging) consumes less battery power than NVidia. Even I have installed auto-cpufreq but Nvidia consumes more battery power. Now I saw 90 percentage soon it changes to 80.
Use Nvidia when do heavy stuff like movie editing, games etc. Then switch to intel when surfing the web, emailing etc.
There's a reason why the nvidia card consume more power than intel.
