Tell your weirdest story!

This topic is something i want to share with your all. I am still talking about it sometimes with people because the story is so weird and i still don't know HOW.

Back in 2002 when i whas 16 years old i went to school once a week (4 days working, 1 day school). Friday whas always the day we needed to school. When we had a brake at school we always got to the supermarket to buy some food. I always paid by card. One day i had a weird feeling, something i needed to do. My friend asked me what i am going to buy in the supermarket. I told him i need to get some cash, he said why ??? you always pay with card. I said yes but i have a feeling something will happen, i have a feeling i get a coin with a minting error. He told me i am nuts. I went to the bank and got some cash so i could pay with money in the supermarket. When i paid the lady i got alot of coins back and guess what....it really happend. I got a coin that has minting errors. I was a coin collector back in those days, i had gold coins and so on. I sold everything except this coin. I can't sell it for some reason.

I hope the story is understandable

The coin is stored in this case:

You don't know what this Coin is? That is a 50 Euro-Cent Coin. And this Coin is from Germany. It has the Letter ''G'', so I think it should be from Karlsruhe.

Interesting on this is the Side with the 50 because it isn't centric and the ribbed Edge. That isn't right how it looks. It could be a Minting Error - which would be good because that Stuff has a Value.

A weird Story ... Well, maybe not directly weird but a bit embarrassing:

In School in the Sports-Lesson, we played Football - or I should say Soccer. And I was in the Goal. The Ball came and I made a whide Step to the right. And then it cracks and ... my Shorts where ripped open at the inner Seam the whole Way from the End of the Shorts Pant Leg to the ... Beginning, if you understand.

I live in the Netherlands so yes i do know what coin it is :joy:

It is a minting error correct! The back side from the coin is incorrect and the ribbed are incorrect too. When the coin got stamped the plate got moved, normally these wont make it into public. These coins normally gets destroyed.

This whas the feeling i got at school. This is why i needed to get cash money instead of paying with card as how i always paid.

Yeah i understand…thanks for sharing your story.

@Michel
Have you had a coin expert look at the coin?

Only a coin collector back in time, he wanted to give 50 euros for it…i am pretty sure the value is much higher of it.
