I am writing this final post to document how a new user is treated here for simply advocating for privacy tools like Firefox.
It is shameful that instead of technical counter-arguments, the leadership here uses 'Hide' and 'Lock' tools to silence uncomfortable truths about the Chromium monopoly. Labeling my genuine concerns as 'inappropriate' or 'spam' is a weak tactic to cover up your own biases.
If this forum is only for those who agree with the moderators, then it is not a 'Community'—it is a closed circle of egos. You can block my ID and hide my posts, but you cannot hide the fact that you are afraid of a user who values Gecko engine over your preferred defaults.
I came here to contribute to Zorin OS, but I am leaving because I value my dignity more than a forum that censors its users.
Goodbye to a platform that failed the test of Linux freedom."
Other's were flagged by an User. So they were hidden until a Mod takes a Look at them.
You posted the same in several Threads. The People understand You when You post it in one Thread, too. You don't need to create Duplicates. That was explained to You here:
With that explained to You, I hope it is now clear to You now.
Many open threads with users discussing their browser preferences and dissenting the choice of Brave Browser starkly contrasts your claims.
This thread is publicly viewable.
The reason this is now closed is also simple:
Healthy discussions rely on users discussing reality, not alternative forms of it.
Receiving three warnings, then committing a forth violation does not mean you are being censored. It means you are not adhering to the posting guidelines.
Shifting the goal posts to present illusions is actually worse than Spam is. There is a difference between having a different perspective and willfully and intentionally misrepresenting reality.
Neither the readers here, nor we, are going to fall for that tactic nor are we obligated to tolerate it.
This is not Reddit. We do not do free for all brawls, here. We maintain a higher standard and we produce higher quality content.
