The Email Client, Conspiracy? o.O

Good day...

Having trouble setting up email clients - where my user name & password is not being recognised by any client besides Thunderbird(all versions)...

I'm using 4GB of RAM & I'm trying to find the lightest email client(with address unifying)to use, besides Thunderbird which uses 600MB or so...

But I cannot log into my yahoo account because I keep getting the same error of my not inputting the correct credentials......except when using TB...

I need assistance to get past this & I am open to suggestions of light RAM using email clients which unify multiple emails into one....

Thanks...

Yahoo mail I use the web browser and have it pinned to the bookmarks bar same with my Gmail

Doing a search brought back Geary and Claws Mail which are ones you are having issues with.

Claws Mail is recommended for Yahoo IMAP.

Now in the past some people had issues with Thunderbird not working because they installed the Flatpak version which did not work because mail ckients need to work with the system. Were any of the fails Flatpak versions?

This is where I'm at now...

I have BlueMail working, but I think it's using 500MB so I'll need a lighter client...

I've tried Claws but the log in process is too complicated & I can't complete it - plus I'm not sure you can 'unify' email accounts with it...

I've tried all versions of Thunderbird - the problem is it's using too much RAM which leads to my system maxing out(RAM AND swap)& then logging me out when it crashes...

This is why I'm looking for an alternative...

Hi, well in that case I think @wesoliv429 's solution is the best option. I have web-based shotcuts in my Plasma DE for Protonmail and GMail.

I don't like it...

Plus Yahoo mail doesn't unify accounts - you have to select the one you want to check...

I tried a web app earlier today it too uses 600MB of RAM - it's the Yahoo square in one of the pics...

I am trying other stuff...

BUT why am I getting this constant log in error with most of these clients? O.O

Do you use a VPN?

Could it be that Your Mail Provider might not accept too much Client Connections?
