Hi
I'm not interested in using the terminal.
The root cause here is that I can't configure my firewall in the GUI — anything I click makes the GUI hang.
It's running on an HP 430. Is there an HCL I need to follow to get full reliability in the GUI?
Tachanks
It is the only GUI that hangs the rest of settings works fine. I have rebooted the computer and the problem has been there since the OS was installed. It gives me a dialog that says close the program or wait. I have tried both options, if I wait it can come back rarely. If you using the GUI very slowly it seems to not hang as quickly as normal use. //marsk
Thanks
I have now rebooted the machine and logged on to X11, the FW GUI works fine, but its slow to update the dialog. But X11 is not ok its not as crisp as before. Is there support for things like this if I buy the Pro version?

The Pro version does not include fixes or functionality extra to Core or Lite.
Everything in Core or Lite should work as well as it does in Pro.
Functionality or bug fixes are not hidden behind a paywall.
It really surprises me how very often that this question is asked. It demonstrates that as a society, we have been conditioned to accept being swindled.
The proper course must be to await a fix from the GUFW maintainer to address their applications performance in Wayland.
