I'm sure there's a lot up for interpretation here – Linux usage was reportedly at 55% in 2020, while only at only 26% in 2023 – but the trend is pretty clear: Linux is one of the most used operating systems among developers.
For non-developers though, I think that's where Microsoft's greed is playing a big role in pushing people away from them.
