@Maiar have you checked performance under wayland? I switched from x11 to wayland just out of curiosity. Running 580 driver on rtx 3080 and my fps in ghost recon breakpoint dropped from 150-160 fps to 80 fps. Obviously went back to x11
Testing with Routine, a recent game made in Unreal 5, the performance was the same in both cases.
Both stayed around 70-80 fps on medium settings.
