The operating system crashes

The crash happened again! But this time like on Nobara. The PC was completely blocked. And I couldn't access the terminal via SSH.
The only thing I could see was the automatic shutdown window after 60 seconds, which appeared if I pressed the shutdown button on the PC.
BUT after 60 seconds, it wouldn't shut down, forcing me to hold down the button and forcefully shut down the PC.

Well, I, for one, don't have the slightest idea of what is going on. In fact, I've faced similar issues like this before, including once with Zorin OS; after a lot of effort ruling out this and that, I eventually moved on to other distributions. Linux Mint, Manjaro, Debian 10, 11 & 12... they've all worked fine. That didn't stop me from installing Zorin OS in many other machines, and never had any issues.

This type of issues are incredibly tough to diagnose since they are unpredictable and nearly impossible to reproduce on other machines. Graphic drivers tend to be at fault quite often, but it might be something else entirely.

So, I'm sure there is an answer to this problem but I honestly think you need to be pragmatic here. You've already dedicated quite a bit of time to Linux, which is far more than what most people can say.
If you still feel up for another try, install Linux Mint or Debian and see if there's better luck with that — they both have very large and active communities, in case you want to ask there.
Otherwise, just install Windows. At the end of the day, computers are tools and if the tool doesn't work: change it. You can always try Linux at another time (and computer) if you want.

Thank you very much! Very kind! As a beginner, I have dedicated a lot of time. I believed in using Linux. I don't know if changing distributions further helps. I can try, Nobara gave me problems, with Zorin the same. I can try, but perhaps for a simple gamer it is better to go back to Windows.
I can say with certainty that Linux is wonderful, but it still has a long way to go, especially for those who, like me, would like a system, click start and everything works immediately.
Windows is still famous, just for this. This has always been its strong point. Maybe Linux, will be able to surpass it, but it will take years in my opinion, until a distro is created that as soon as it is installed, everything works without using the terminal too much, and that should be left to professionals, who want to have fun with the various modifications.
In any case, Thank you very much for everything!

I mean, I'm just being realistic. I do think Linux is the better operating system — the more power to the user, thebetter — but it's not without its own grudges. However, I've had my own share of pain with Windows as well, so it's not like there's one perfect tool no matter where you look.

The advantage of Linux is that you can at least try other distributions and see if those help. I really think you should try Linux Mint as a last stop. What's a few more hours at this point :man_shrugging:
