The software cannot be started

While I was using Zorin OS 16, everything was fine. When I switched to version 17, the software couldn't run which wasn’t originally in the system. When I talk about software, I mean .deb and .appimage. When I install programs, I open them, but nothing happens. I don’t know how to get more information about the problem, I tried to run .appimage in the terminal, but all I got was this:
> [i18n] ready...

I tried to find a solution on the Internet, they advised me to enter the command, but it didn’t help.:
sudo apt install libfuse2t64
or
sudo apt install libfuse2t64

What's your specs? Video card? Login session, xorg or wayland?

sudo apt install inxi
inxi -Ga

I Case of .deb Files You could open the installed Program with the Terminal and check if there are any Error Messages shown and then post them here.

I can only provide data from a monoblock with Zorin OS 16, on which everything works correctly:

When I enter a command inxi -Ga into the terminal on Zorin OS 17, nothing happens. All I see is a blinking pointer.

My Computer Specifications:

  • ASUS GeForce RTX 3050 Dual OC Edition
  • Intel Core i7-11700 OEM
  • ASUS TUF GAMING B560-PLUS WIFI

I'm not sure if this is enough to name the cause of the problem, but I used echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE to determine. He returned wayland.

I also noticed that when you turn off the computer, a black screen appears with the yellow inscription Waiting for process: org.gnome.Nauti, org.gnome.Nauti, org.gnome.Nauti, org.gnome.Nauti, .... There was something about Wayland at the end.

In the beginning, I applied information about running the software from the terminal.

To get more information, I installed another package, in this case termius-app (from Free SSH Client for Linux). But when I tried to start it, I again got nothing in the console except a flashing pointer.

This shows your graphics are in fallback mode - you are also using Wayland.
That is on 16, I believe.
Not everything is working correctly.
Your Nvidia 3050 is piping through your CPU, bypassing the GPU.
Wayland does not work on Nvidia.

Did you reinstall or Upgrade?

Using journalctl may be a starting point. Can you relay the terminal output of

journalctl -xe

I use a monoblock with Zorin OS 16 and a personal computer with Zorin OS 17.
