This one gt3ex does't work at all ... not sure it is even one of yours ......
Tranquility only works on the Applications Menu but doesn't show up on Desktop ..... all the other themes that I have chosen will work except viewing the menu on the desktop of all of them is very small ..... I played around with the font settings and even the fractional % from 1.1 to 1.9 but all I could get was larger icons and bigger box but not the fonts ..... this is the reason I use Cinnamon Desktop choice as it is large ..... I'm sure by using it with all your other themes it would all work just fine ....
By the way your moebius theme with the Cinnamon Desktop choice works just perfect for me and even matches the right shade of gray ......
Here is a listing of all your icons that I have access to from Pling and git-hub ....... they all work fine with Cinnamon DE even the very first ones you created ..... naturally there a lot of missing icon color in these older additions but the main ones in the Home Directory work just fine .....
I didn't take a photo of the default Mint Icons but they are pretty much the same as the ones shown for the Mint Themes in the above photos .....
Again I deleted them with root and saved a copy to a folder I made in Home ......
Once again these are just ones that I choose to use as I know you have made more ....
To the both of you I want to thank you for all your hard work ..... I can't even begin to imagine all the long hours you spent in creating these masterpieces ..... with the exception of one desktop and my mouse pointers I use both your works exclusively .....
Again many thanks .....
If I have made any errors in the ownership of any of the themes or icons above please correct them ..... thanks
That looks like the Cinnamon Default App menu.
I install Cinnamenu Or the Stark Menu - which allows built in settings for icon and font sizes.
Both are very good choices. You can explore them if you want.
Alternatively, you can alter the font and icon settings in the Cinnamon Menu by opening its .json file in the configs: ~/.cinnamon/configs/menu@cinnamon.org/
And setting the following in the .json (change values to taste):
{
"menu-text-scale": 1.5,
"icon-size": 32
}
You also can adjust this in the theme .css. In the Directory of the theme, open the Cinnamon folder, then open cinnamon.css in text editor:
Thanks for that tip Cinnamenu is fantastic ...... it has so much customization it is almost scary here is just a few photos for those that don't know about what it can look like ......
I placed it in the center of the task bar ........
It really is. It and Stark are neck and neck as far as Top End application menu's. XFCE has Whiskermenu which is nearly as good. And that is the end... Every other D.E. menu on Windows OS, mac or GnuLinux desktops like Mates Brisk menu all pale in comparison to me.
An App Menu is a Core Feature and as such, should be highly customizable to the user.
Menus that are restrictive and offer little ability to adjust for light sensitivity, sizes and readability are anathema. And... most default menus are like this. It really goes to show where most developers mindsets are: Self-interest not user interest.
