Just returned from a nap after waiting for my backup files to copy across from HDD to SSD (external) and instead of deleting the old files I deleted the newly created copies. Doh pay attention after a nap.

Bit like the classic woodworking advice, "measure twice, cut once".
In this case, "check file location twice, delete files once".
