This device is using an alternative driver (wifi) (Zorin OS 16 Lite XFCE)

Hey there , i have a friend who has an old laptop , like really old , its an Aspire 4720Z , and as he said that his laptop is old and laggy , i told him to try linux , and for you zorin would be the best as i also use it as an second os on my pc , well installing zorin lite on his laptop was a whole new journey as it took around 3-4 hours as it was stuck in creating ext4 partition and then i gave up restart the installer and formatted the drive first from the disk usage and install it , it got installed in 15-20 min , well when i installed zorin (core) in my pc it was gnome env , and the lite version was XCFE , never used it as i am also new to linux , well the os is working fine its just that there is no wifi option in the settings , i even tried it by installing gnome desktop (idk why) and check the wifi in the settings , it was there but it said there was no wifi adapter , and when i go to the additional drivers software it has a driver for the wifi card (BCM4311 802.11b/g WLAN) , and it was at do not use this device , when i switched it to using Broadcom 802.11 Linux ..... , and applied the changes after it got applied it said that the device is using an alternative driver , any fix?
