After upgrading to Zorin OS 17 pro, Thunderbird is no longer able to open links using Firefox. I found some instructions online for setting the default browser but it didn't work. I also installed an extension called "open with" but that doesn't work either. Any idea how to fix this? Is it because FF is now a flack pak?
I installed the Firefox .deb from Mozilla.org and that fixed it. I think the issue is that Thunderbird couldn't find the firefox fatpak.

This is the problem with 'containerised' applications - they keep themselves to themselves and it also means updates tend to be separate from the global update.
