Tinny / low quality audio out of laptop speakers

Hey guys,

Just decided to make the switch from Win11 to Linux.
I chose Zorin for now. After installing Zorin 18 (formatted SSD), I'm having some serious Audio issues.

The audio sounds awfully tinny and just simply bad. Compared to the Windows Audio it sounds like the Audio Drivers just haven't installed.

My laptop is the HP Spectre X360 (14-eu0000)

What I've tried so far:

  1. Ran alsamixer - This recognises Card: sof-hda-dsp and Chip: Realtek ALC245
  2. Ran Pavucontrol - This recognises Meteor Lake - P HD Audio Controller Speaker + Headphones along with several HDMI / Display Port outputs.
  3. Installed Pulseffects (Which helped with changing the sound but not improving it)
  4. Updated Zorin and rebooted several times

Could someone point me in the right direction of what I might be missing?

Thank you!
