Touch screen is weird! is there a fix?

I've gotten the latest zorin os core from the website, i booted it on my Asus Vivobook 13 Slate but i haven't installed it yet!

It works really fast and good but the problem i have with it is the touchscreen!
Touchscreen works in general but it's not great! I can only move some of the windows around using my fingers, for example i can't move around the Appearance windows but can move a subwindow that was open inside appearance!!

or i can't switch between the apps from taskbar by one tapping it, it just shows me the thumbnail of that window for a milisecond.

Overall it was a hassle to work with touchscreen and since zenbook 13 is partially a tablet it's not worth it.

Is there fix? since i've tried it with "Try zorin os" and it's not installed, is there a chance that installing it fixes this problem?

Thanks

Is this a new released Model? If yes, maybe a newer Kernel could help with better Support. Did You tried something like Fedora with a newer Kernel if it behaves different/better?

Gnome Desktop in general, with touch support, still does not support tapping the panel to change applications, nor to drag arbitrary windows - you probably are able to only drag modal windows.
Have you tested Plasma D.E.? For example, KDE Neon? I believe later Plasma supports these actions.

Oh i'm sorry i was gonna write Vivobook
It's not an old laptop, it's just not really powerful due to being really thin and light.
Zorin works great on it speedwise but the touch is throwing me off.

I'm sorry i didn't understand a single word you just said lol, i'm not really fimiliar with these stuff, gotta ask chatgpt about it and will get back to you

I meant to try a newer Kernel. The Kernel is the Heart of the System. And Fedora is another Distro which has a different Concept that Zorin. Zorin is a so-called LTS Distro which means it has older Stuff but is more stable. Fedora is a more up-to-date Distro. So, this might help with better Hardware Support.
