Touchpad will not disable when typing - Zorin 16 pro

I have set the touchpad to "disabled while typing", but it simply doesn't work. I've read all the forums and looked at this https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/935/toggle-touchpad/ but the install fails (I suspect because it is no longer being supported)

Can someone help with this? I type all day for work on this laptop and it's nearly impossible to deal with.

Should be supported.
