EU have always had better consumer protection laws. The US don't care about consumers getting screwed over, with no recourse to turn to. With the latest administration, that gets far worse even still. I have always respected the EU, for actually carrying about the people, not the acquisition of wealth as its bottom line.
PS: We were once a nation that was idolized around the world. Now were a nation to be feared, even among its own citizens. What happened? People fell asleep, and woke up the devil.
