Of course there are a bunch of Debbie Downers in the video comments who don't understand what it's for and how to use it.
Seems like a very useful tool to whittle down the list to those you would want to actually try in live mode off the USB, instead of needing to write the iso for every single one.

All you need is a 64GB thumb drive with Ventoy and throw all the ISO's in there till your heart's content.

I don't like the waiting in que line. It also appears slow.

Silly me. All I needed to do was download a bunch of iso files and write them onto a USB I can't justify buying using an app I could never get to install and function properly. Or, I can wait a minute and try out the look and feel of different distros and eliminate most without having to do all that.

Whatcha gonna do when there is no internet service? How you gonna try out those distros when they're dependent on a internet connection?

Everyone is entitled to an opinion and both opinions are of the same weight with cons and pros.

You mean the same internet needed to download 49 distro iso files?

Meh, it's not awful by any means. If you're of the lazy type or don't know how to flash, that is a good site to take a quick glance at a distro.

But I'll take my 49 distros on a usb key over 49 online distros behind a slow server along with long wait times, patreon ads, and IP data logging.

Being insulting and thinking only your opinions, preferences, and experiences are valid doesn't help those looking for a Windows alternative without being immediately put off by processes they didn't need to use for Windows.

Calling people debbie downers is also insulting for sharing an opinion, in which many of them are valid from my point of view.

And I stand correct on everything that I said. Without internet distros don't function (and neither does that site). And guess what? I couldn't sample Vanilla OS because it needs an internet connection. But wait, if I pay their patreon or PayPal donation I get internet connection to work!

Hey, if you're looking for an escape from Windows, all you need is Zorin or Mint. Start from there learning the basic linux and some terminal which is not that hard. This is coming from a newbie linux user who recently got away from Microsoft.

I just find a level of unfairness that you have to pay; to sample a distro, not good.

Just get a cheap USB thumb drive and throw a few distros in there like Zorin, Mint, Ubuntu etc and once you learn the ropes, distro hop all you want.

That site is not bad at all, it's good to glance things around and see how it looks. If you want functions download and flash the drive OR pay their patreon for internet in order to get a fully functional distro.

I really like distrosea and often use it to get a first impression of Linux Distributions or to test something when I don't want to start my computer with a live session of Zorin 18.
When you login with your google account you also have internet access.

Or you can peruse my other OS videos on Vimeo.com.
