Trying to install Zorin via USB key, my screen freezes with just Acer and Z of Zorin Logo showing

Hello,
Using a USB key I tried to install Zorin on an old ACER Aspire. My usb was read just after the screen freezes and is showing Acer and the logo "Z".
What is happening and do I have to do ?

Hello Fred,
Need more info in order for people to help, such as are you trying to dual boot with windows, another version of linux. Are you wiping out the entire disk, or trying to install on a particular partition. Also, what did you use to write the ISO image to the usb drive.

How old is this Acer - specs are required. Also did you set the BIOS to not fast boot etc. etc.
