I installed zorin with encryption. but I sometimes want to turn it off (when I am not traveling with my laptop). is encryption/decryption possible after installation?
I saw one older post who lead to an article for ubuntu 14 and to be honest didn’t bother to read. maybe zorin has something better and newer to offer regarding to this topic.

Sadly, no. In fact, if you decide after that you no longer want the encryption, it usually comes down to reinstalling without encryption enabled, as well.
It IS possible to remove the encryption, but it is a tedious and involved process of copying your entire file system to a new partition.
