TV static when laptop goes to sleep

I recently installed Zorin 16 and every things seems to be working well so far except for one thing.

When my laptop goes to sleep, I get a TV static-like effect on my screen when I wake it up, and it stays stuck like that until I force shut down my laptop. The OS is fully operational in the background, but the static stays there. I've been forced to set the Blank Screen option to 'Never' as it's the only way to not have this happen. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Any help is appreciated!

(For reference, I have Zorin 16 installed on an Acer Swift 3, 8 GB RAM, 512 NVMe SSD, 4700U CPU with Radeon graphics)

Hi,

Radeon is not my thing (I swear to Nvidia), but try upgrade the driver.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:oibaf/graphics-drivers
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
