Two small issues

Hello all,

I have 2 small issues I would like help with. I've searched the forum and the web, but so far I've not been able to solve them.
I'm running Zorin OS Pro 17.2

Issue 1 - I'm the only person in my house and when I wake my computer from suspend or hibernate I have to enter my PIN. Is it possible to just wake the computer without having to enter the PIN?

Issue 2 - I mostly use Brave browser and when I wake the computer from suspend or hibernate the scrolling in Brave is not right when using the mouse wheel. What I mean is I have to really spin the wheel to get the scrolling to work. If I reboot the PC the scrolling returns to normal until I suspend the PC and wake it up again.

I know these are minor annoyances, but if anyone has an idea I would appreciate it.

First one is kinda hidden under Privacy. Then click Screen and unclick Lock Screen on Suspend.

Thanks, that worked!
I can't believe I didn't see this.

issue 2: have you installed brave from flatpak or deb. file ?
deb. is prefered , from what i've seen here .
Installing Brave on Linux | Brave

deb file. I'm using the Brave nightly build. I update quite often.

Have you tried with the regular version of Brave? Just to try to narrow things down as much as possible.

Try also disabling: Preferences -> System -> Use graphics acceleration when available.

No, but I'm going to give it a try.

For the life of me I can't find this setting "Use graphics acceleration when available" any where in the menus. I would like to turn this off (if it's on) as I don't do much gaming.

It's a Brave setting, in case you're looking inside the OS settings. Although maybe it's not available in the nightly build?

Yes, I was looking in the OS settings. Thanks I found it and it was on. I've turned it off. We'll see if that helps after waking up from suspend.
