Hi guys,
I've been experiencing random freezes while using my PC. It seems to only affect the UI because music continues to play, Zoom meetings keep working, but my UI freezes for about 1-2 minutes before unfreezing. During the freeze, I can move the cursor, but the keyboard is unresponsive. Sounds work fine, but the clock in the bottom-right corner is also frozen.
What could be causing this? My first thought was the GPU, but I replaced it, and the problem persists. Does anyone have any idea what the issue could be? I'm able to replicate the freezing when I print something. Everytime I print something. My UI freeze for 1-2 minutes. But it happens in other circumstances too.
I've attached a screenshot of my specs.
Run journalctl -f
before replicating the error and post the output.
I attached the output. There's a lot of errors.

Can you try disabling gnome extensions? Maybe one of the extensions could be causing the freeze.
The only custom gnome extension I add is this one. The others are gnome extension provided by Zorin by default.
I just disabled it. I will let you know if the issue persist.
Issue is persisting when printing. If I disable the zorin printer extension, Will I be able to print?
Yes, you can use lp /path/to/your/document.pdf
command to print your documents.
Since I disabled Zorin Printers, I haven’t experienced any freezing. It seems to have been the cause of the issue. I’ll let you know if I encounter any new freezes.
Thanks!
