I get this message when trying to update
files.
Unable to install updates org.gnome.Platform/x86_64/41 not installed
files.
Those are for Flatpak Packages. If you are not using any flatpaks, you can safely ignore that.
If you just want it gone; you have two options:
- ) Keeping Flatpak in case you use it
flatpak update
killall gnome-software
rm -rf ~/.cache/gnome-software
Launch Software Store and test...
2. ) Removing Flatpak entirely:
sudo apt remove --purge flatpak
