Help me to speed up my zorin os core by installing lite version

PART 1

uname@MyPC:~$ sudo apt install zorin-os-lite-core zorin-os-lite-desktop

zorin-os-lite-core is already the newest version (1.4.9).
zorin-os-lite-core set to manually installed.
zorin-os-lite-desktop is already the newest version (1.4.9).
You might want to run 'apt --fix-broken install' to correct these.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
zorin-os-lite-core : Depends: zorin-os-lite-default-settings but it is not going to be installed
zorin-os-lite-desktop : Depends: zorin-os-lite-default-settings but it is not going to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt --fix-broken install' with no packages (or specify a solution).

Hi Thanks for your response.

In the part 2 of the question, i run same command and no success

Please run:

sudo apt --fix-broken install

Launch Software & Updates
Ensure the first four options are checked and in the dropdown menu for "Download from", select "main server."
Close Software & Updates
Then, run in terminal:

sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade

sudo apt install -y zorin-os-lite-desktop

If your intention is then to remove gnome (zorin-os-desktop) you are going to run into issues. It will remove gnome and many of the applications both versions depend on. If you attempt to remove zorin-os-core, it will black screen or refuse to boot. Again, because it will remove a lot of the dependencies XFCE (Zorin Lite) requires.

Attempting this, this way will most likely cost you more time and increase your stress level faster than if you had backed up your installation with Easily Reinstall and installing lite from scratch.
