on the yoga slim 9 that usually means rfkill is soft-blocking it at boot even though bluetooth itself works fine once you toggle it.
check right after a fresh reboot before you enable it:
rfkill list
systemctl status bluetooth
if Soft blocked: yes, AutoEnable alone wont help. what fixed it for me on similar lenovos was a Startup Applications entry with:
rfkill unblock bluetooth
also confirm /etc/bluetooth/main.conf has AutoEnable=true under [Policy]. if you dual boot windows, turn off Fast Startup there. if rfkill is already unblocked at boot and it still sits off, paste those two outputs and we can dig.
So, when You have manually enabled Bluetooth it works well, right? Let's check some Points:
Are Secure Boot and Fast Boot in BIOS disabled?
If Windows is still installed: Is Fast Start-Up in Windows disabled?
Did You checked the ''Additional Drivers'' Tab if there is a Bluetooth Driver offered?
When You open the File Manager and You go to /etc/bluetooth You should find there a File called main.conf. Open it with Text Editor and check the following Textblock nearly at the End if there is AutoEnable=true:
Thanks @nite_route.
Soft blocked: yes.
AutoEnable=true
tried rfkill unblock bluetooth in the terminal. It did enabled bluetooth, but after reboot. it is still disabled.
