I am suddenly unable to see network shares. All other machines can see these shares just not the Zorin one. Not sure where to start troubleshooting without complete reinstall.
Do you know what led up to this "sudden" change?
Could it be a kernel or other software update?
To rule out kernel, try booting older (previous) kernel from grub menu item "Additional Options for Zorin".
Have you tried using X11 instead of Wayland at login.
From login screen, click on password field as if to login, but see cog icon that appears.
From cog icon, you should get choice of Wayland or X11 that you can then select.
