Unable to select driver for 2nd Nvidia Card

I recently added in my old GTX 1060 alongside my RTX 3080. I mostly want to be able to use the 1060 to manage renders for streaming, but I'm having trouble being able to select a driver and make the 1060 visible to applications. When checking Software & Updates, it shows both cards listed, the 3080 allows me to choose whatever driver I want, but the 1060 only has "Continue using a manually installed driver available". A quick search shows that the 580 driver should work, and is listed, but is not available for selection. Any help would be appreciated.

I should also note that it's my intention to run the 1060 with no connected displays.

As far as I know, you need to downgrade your kernel to use legacy driver for that Nvidia card to 6.8.x.

Perhaps you could use for both cards 580? I'm not sure if you can set different proprietary nvidia drivers for each card.

If it doesn't work well try to switch to Xorg if you are running on Wayland.

For this Card the 580 Driver can be used.

@spyder1384: Please open the Terminal and type nvidia-smi and post the Output here.

Hmm somehow the card he wants to use has the driver manually installed so not sure what driver is in use the Nvidia-smi will help alot
