Maybe it is just called Chrome or Chromium.
Nope ..... nothing under the "C's" either .....
Appimages that create a .desktop file are generally stored in ~/.local/share/applications
- In that directory in your screenshot, I see a Chrome entry. Do you recognize that?
Because I would suspect that is the .desktop file for the Browser.
OK .... that deleted 2 of those pesky items ...... I just tried to open the file .... see photos .... only one left .....
While looking around in the .config folder I found this folder .... chromium ..... I know that both Vivaldi and Brave are biased on Chromium but I'm not sure what else uses Chromium so I'm kinda reluctant to delete the folder ..... what say you ....
I'll wait before deleting anything .....
As I recall, Vivaldi Browser almost always names its directories placed elsewhere under the Vivaldi name, nut under Chrome or Chromium. You won't find any directories or files with the Chromium Name unless you find them directly inside of a Vivaldi Folder.
But I cannot vouch for other Chromium or Chrome based browsers.
I moved that file to a USB Stick and deleted the one in .config/chromium ..... and the last remain item involving Ungoogle Chromium disappeared from my Start menu .... so we can lay this beast to rest ......
Thanks to all you good folks that were involved with this thread ....
