Check out Revo Uninstaller Pro. There's a free trial version. It not only uninstalls software via Wine, it cleans the Windows container of all the left overs that the uninstaller leaves behind. This is a Windows application, that also works flawlessly in Linux, via Wine installation. It helps to save headaches on failed installations you're trying to clean your system of. Have a look.

I find the free one good enough on Windows. I suspect the Pro one takes care of the Advanced Registry options for you in respect of cleaning up.
I recommend the free one for those running VMs of Windows. The Advanced Registry clean up is easy enough to use, you just need to make sure you only checkmark the registry entries in bold for deletion.
